Anything in moderation gives me a headache 馃槈 I am not here to live this life in any sort of mediocre zone. I want it all and I want the best and I want to live my life to its fullest every minute of every blessed day and as anyone who knows me can tell you, that’s the way I live my life and if you want a Thanksgiving experience like no other (outside of and in addition to the ultimate Thanksgiving experience which is with as many family members as you can get around a turkey on your family’s dining room table ) and you want to do it all the way you have to hit the upper west side of Manhattan the night before the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and if you’re as lucky as I am, get invited to the reception at the New York Historical Society across the street from The Museum of Natural History on Central Park West. Here are some pictures to try to share part of the experience with you. But pictures will not share it enough. Next year you have to go and keep in contact with me and I’ll get you into all the parties 馃槑 馃檪 <3

聽Wendy Schulman聽there is an energy in ny like no where else. im so glad you get to savor and share your experiences with us. my memory of my last thanksgiving in ny was a perfect ny one.at the time my cousin lived on 58th and 2nd and we met up with him. we went to the聽parade.i felt like a kid wide eyed and excited to see the balloons that i loved so much. it was bitter cold and we stopped into a diner for hot chocolate and a little breakfast. we headed over to rockefeller center to see the tree and surrounding stores decorated for the holidays. the vibe was so upbeat and happy. we had dinner in a little tavern in the village.the place was built in the 1800’s and was complete with a fireplace. it was the only time in my life i ever had thanksgiving in a restaurant but somehow this place made it feel so special. with our bellies full we walked out to a light dusting of snow..the gods were with us for sure. i mean how perfect could the get!!?! we then headed to broadway and saw ‘Bring in the funk bring in the noise’. it was music and dancing and the history of tap. there you have it,one of my top happy memories.we left for florida a few weeks later to start a new chapter of our lives. i hope everyone had a lovely thanksgiving! -
聽Gregg P Sullivan聽Wow, Thank you so much for the share Wendy Schulman What a great story. Love when we have those great moments that last and last indelibly in our memories. Especially when the small details that make up the event still linger like the hot chocolate to聽take away the chill from the bitter cold in a turn of the century tavern complete with fireplace and remembering how wide eyed the wonder of the balloons made you. Love those types of memories. So, thank you so much for the share. I’ve missed our fb correspondence and your presence. -
